Cheese can be inflammatory if you do not tolerate dairy or have an allergy to it. Dairy, as a rule, can also be inflammatory if you are choosing conventional choices. When dairy products come from pastured cows fed a grass-fed diet there are great benefits to it including high quality fat.
Bottom line, depending on your tolerance of dairy, it can increase insulin resistance or optimize it. It’s very individual. If dairy doesn't work for you; consider leaving it out or using nutritional yeast to add a little “cheesy” flavor.
