While food choices on the Glow15 plan (particularly the myriad of healthy fats) are wonderful for nursing and pregnant women, both intermittent fasting and protein cycling are really best avoided until baby is weened. As you well know, the nutrient needs and demands of the nursing mother are greater, and restricting this in any way could be contraindicated.
There have been limited studies done in this field, mainly looking at pregnant women undergoing religious types of fasting, that have not shown a major risk, but again studies are inconclusive and we recommend eating to your body's hunger cues during this special time in life.
